Conference on Informatics & Integrative Biology (CIIB-2011)
| December 14, 2011 | to | December 16, 2011 |
Kolkata,India
Bioinformatics Centre (BIC) of Bose Institute, Kolkata is organizing Conference on Informatics & Integrative Biology (CIIB-2011) to be held in Kolkata during 14th-16th December 2011 to celebrate its 25 years of scientific journey.
This conference will provide a unique platform for scientists/experts from academia and industry nationwide to catalyze the networking between the branches of computational biology and bioinformatics and to facilitate the amalgamation of the complementary scientific efforts in the academia and industry to achieve common scientific goals. This three-day event will feature lectures from the leading academic/industry experts and poster sessions for budding researchers.
The CIIB-2011 will offer a wide range of interesting science in the area of computational and integrative biology. There will be a broad range of hot topics in biology research presented by young as well as veteran leaders from research community. Of major interest will be the impact of amalgamation of informatics and biological sciences in basic and applied research as well as the integration of newly emerging technologies such as next-generation sequencing, medical imaging and systems biology sessions.
