The leading energy trade fair in Europe
The E-world energy & water is Europe’s leading fair for the energy and water industries, to be held as early as 2010 for the tenth time in Essen. It serves as a communication forum for the power supply industry, public utilities, industrial consumers, municipalities and service providers and provides them with an opportunity to actively establish new business relationships right on site, to systematically maintain existing customer contacts, to be part of the tradeshow itself and to make business deals. Substantive focus of the exhibition are the areas of sales, trading and marketing. But also new issues such as energy efficiency and smart home to recently uncovered by the various exhibitors and the organizers each year and discussed again.
The Energy Fair specially focused on the areas of sales and supply, trade and marketing. But these new areas as energy efficiency and the smart home are also highlighted and discussed by various fair organizers and exhibitors every year.
E-world Conference as the competence forum of the European energy industry
Along with the tradeshow itself, E-world conferences take place each year. Under normal circumstances, more than 30 conferences and workshops are held with top quality speakers to keep the participants abreast of latest market trends, with a view of the electricity and gas, energy and future legal issues.
Internationalization
Although many international exhibitors and visitors from abroad, already in the E-world every year, the organizers of the show constantly try to increase this number. As a consequence, in cooperation with the Essen Economic Development Company, took the “Day of the consulates” place for the first time in 2009, in which representatives from 18 countries gathered information about energy policy and energy issues, and participated in a group tour of the fair city. In this context Matchmaking an offer that is also used more and more each year. It offers visitors and exhibitors alike the opportunity to work together on a neutral platform together to make further contacts with potential business partners.
