IMEC is the leading conference of the materials community in Israel, spanning both fundamental and applied research. The IMEC-15 conference will attempt to reflect the recent breakthroughs in a range of topics, including nanomaterials, biomaterials, materials for energy systems and cleantech, advanced characterization techniques. Plenary presentations will be given by internationally renowned scientists together with keynote talks by leading scientists from Israel and abroad. The conference will also include specialized topical sessions, poster sessions, commercial exhibition and a conference banquet. The best student presentations will receive awards.

Conference of the Society for Medical Innovation and Technology was originally founded in order to advance minimally invasive therapy at a multidisciplinary level, in an attempt to reduce patient trauma arising from surgery or radiological interventions. Today, however, the Society aims to attract a broader spectrum of participants, including representatives from most medical specialties, instrument manufacturing, start-up companies, biomedical engineering and research.
