The Conference

On day 2, we have Professor Blaise Cronin, Editor in Chief of the Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology. Known for his understanding of information science, will explore how we can educate and train information professionals to operate in this world of greater complexity and faster change.

On Day 3, we Charlene Li, co-author of Groundswell – Winning in a world transformed by social technologies, will explore how organizations must transform themselves to take advantage of the changing social fabric. Charlene will discuss how organizations use social tools ‘OPN’ will change the business world. She will be talking about how organizations need to enhance the “openness” and how to drive and lead this change.

Sea bottom – winning in a world transformed by social technologies, was recently awarded the prize of 2009 Berry-AMA book for the best book in Marketing from the American Marketing Association.

Our opening closing panel, moderated by Steve Arnold incisive, will discuss and debate the impact of cloud computing and open source search and content markets. Who will be the market leaders in 2010?
