The continued rapid growth of information and communication technologies (ICT) has changed the way society and businesses behave. We have seen how computers, the Internet, mobile and technology influence the lives of people and the way companies conduct their activities. Today, the term “Digital Ecosystems” becomes the focus of discussion for the future of advanced ICT-based economy. It seeks to maximize the capacity of ICT to improve collaboration within the society and community.
The impact of ICT for the individual user, society and enterprises varies. These include the way in which these parties are behaving, making the transaction, and conducting business. Information Systems (IS) is the sub-field of computer science. It focuses mainly on the exploration and analysis of complex interrelationships between people and enterprises and challenges in establishing the ICT infrastructure for these entities.
