Jeff Pulver’s 140 Characters Conference – Los Angeles CA, USA

October 27, 2009toOctober 28, 2009

The Kodak Theater
Los Angeles, CA, USA

Jeff Pulver’s 140 Characters Conference - Los Angeles CA, USAAt the #140conf event, we look at Twitter as a platform and a language we speak. Over time, nor is the only platform or language. #140conf not an event about microblogging or facebook where people share tips and techniques, but in which to explore the effects of the emerging real-time Internet business.

The original scope of #140conf was exploring “the effects of Twitter in: Celebrity,” The media, advertising, and (perhaps) the policy. “Over time the scope was expanded to include sports, music, arts, sciences and more. Given the location of #140conf: LA, this event will have a special focus on the use of Twitter in the entertainment industry.

The #140conf first in New York brought together people with diverse backgrounds varied, but the one thing they all had in common was Twitter. To get an idea of what to expect at #140conf LA, please review the recorded videos on our show in New York

The schedule for the next event will be unique and fast. It was my intention to provide a platform for as many people as possible to share ideas and engage in conversation with delegates. You will find individual talks set to 10 minutes, “Featured talks” 15 to 20 minutes and roundtables are assembled several of the 15 to 20 minutes.

The take aways from this event will provide the knowledge to the delegates attending, perspectives and views to the next wave of the effects of twitter and the real-internet TME have on businesses. I hope you will consider joining us at the Kodak Theater in October.
