AcademyX
915 Wilshire Blvd, #1800
Los Angeles, California 90017, USA
AcademyX offers hands-on training classes for Microsoft Access. Some of the Access functions you will learn are: relational databases, tables, reports, forms, toolbars, data validation, select & action queries, multi-table forms and pivot tables.
Overwhelmed by information? Swamped by numbers? Lose the confusion and reclaim your headspace – and your office space – by transferring the contents of your filing cabinet to an all-in-one Microsoft Access database.
Access has been keeping offices reliably organized and up- to-date for the last decade. Not sure where to begin? Come to our Access training, and let our instructors show you all the ins and outs of this powerful application. By the end of this two-day workshop, you will be able to:
Find your way through Datasheet, Design, and Pivot views and all the components of an Access database
* Classify your data by adding a Primary Key or Composite Key to uniquely identify each record
* Save time by filtering records based on a specific condition, for example, all employees whose earnings are greater than $50,000
* Quickly find and replace values automatically throughout the database
* Set up rules to reduce input errors, for example, ensuring that certain fields are never left blank
* Save queries you use often to extract data for easy re-use
* Use the Input Mask Wizard to simplify setting up field entry rules
* Fine-tune your data in Layout View – preview your print-outs on the screen
and much more!
In addition to our Los Angeles workshop in September, we offer Microsoft Access training in San Francisco, San Jose/Silicon Valley, and Sacramento all throughout the year.
