The Online Community Unconference East is held at the Digital Sandbox in New York, which is located in the financial district and provides sufficient space to support break a day of learning and fun. Lunch and refreshments will be provided and WiFi. We geaing up to our first event of 2010, the line of the Community Unconference East February 10 in New York. We expect 250-300 online community and social support to assist professionals in the media – making this our largest unconference east coast yet! In addition, we hope to have collaboration with 40-50 sessions.
Current participants include: Cisco, IBM, The Humane Society of the United States replies Corporation, Medidata Solutions, Consumer Reports, Knowledge Alliance, Harlequin Enterprises Limited, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, CafeMom, CFA Institute, the interactions between impacts, Optaros and more.

Unconference last year, is approximately 40 sessions on key topics including:

Best Practices – busting the myths of managing the online community
The idea of the session was to conduct discussions on many of the common ideas about the community that have been published / promoted / blogs like absolute rather than the experiences of a few.
