The Talent Factory
Buitendijk 2, Den Bosch, 5211 WJ
The Netherlands
The differences between employees are increasing. For young people the establishment of social networks is just as important as salary and status. How can you reach and attract the talent in this group?

Then there are the baby boomers who will soon be retiring. How are you going to make sure they transfer their corporate knowledge in good time? And in the remaining groups there is still a great deal of diversity. Some of them think young and are into the latest technology. Others are still using analogue methods.

Such variety calls for a person-oriented approach to the maintenance of employee relations, as well as the competence-based selection of candidates. In addition, it is important to create an environment in which people can learn from one another, for example by forming teams with a healthy mixture of people from the older and younger generations.

So the key question is how you can develop a policy that accommodates the differences between the age groups, yet bridges the generation gap at the same time. This question is the central theme of Oracle’s HCM congress. Under the heading Generation-oriented talent management leading speakers and clients will present their thoughts and solutions. The conversion of strategic organisational objectives into HR policy will also be put under the spotlight.
