Master Data Management/Application Integration (MDM)
Master Data Management (MDM) is a set of disciplines, processes and technologies for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, timeliness and consistency of the most important types (or domains) of master data in the enterprise – across different applications, systems and databases, and across multiple business processes, functional areas, organizations, geographies and channels. The most common MDM domains are customer data (a subset of MDM known as Customer Data Integration or CDI), and product data (a subset of MDM known as Product Information Management or PIM). Critical MDM capabilities include data governance and stewardship, data quality, identity management, enrichment, grouping, synchronization, and process management.
Middleware (MW)
Getting more out of what you already have enables your company to operate, adapt and expand their business. It is now the norm for applications to deliver content via web browsers and to get the information from the database we need to exploit application servers. This is a skill you must have in today’s expanding information architecture and Oracle Application Server (Fusion Middleware) is an expanding technology that you will need to control within your company and system architecture. This track is oriented to help the Application Server Administrator fully utilize the power of the middleware to deliver and secure your information.
Order Management (Sales) (OM)
Order management is the integrated suite of Order and Sales applications. Order management (Sales) is a subset of both Supply Chain and CRM, all topics with regard to ordering or selling to the customer will be covered under this track.
Professional Development (PD)
To become the complete Oracle technology professional it is not enough to just know how to tune a database or build a Web page. You also need to have ALL the soft skills to stand out in the sea of ITprofessionals and to move ahead and up in your career. Skills like risk analysis, project management, determining return on investment, resolving conflicts and team-building are just as valuable in the work place as knowing the ins and outs of technology. This track highlights the ‘other’ professional and personal skills you need to get ahead to advance your IT career.
Project Management (PM)
Developing software, building a community center, performing research, or creating a global marketing plan—all these activities have one thing in common. They’re all projects. Each has a start and end date. Each has a budget, stakeholders, timelines, and tasks. Each relies on an individual to lead the charge. And, each is made up of many people, with the right skills, coming together at the right time. Project Management crosses multiple disciplines and functional modules. This track will include information specific to the Project Modules within the Oracle suite of products.
Supplier Relationship (SR)
Even with today’s technology, it is difficult for businesses to react efficiently to inaccurate forecasts, supply chain interruptions and rapid demand changes. Therefore, today’s SR solutions need to go beyond simple communication. Discover why SR must reach inside each connected organization to optimize the relationship between enterprises and their suppliers.
Supply Chain (SC)
The Supply Chain Management track covers basic ERP modules, as well as complementary systems and practices, such as eProcurement and Spend Management. Effective supply chain management demands comprehensive information systems that allow you to synchronize plans with your customers and suppliers, collaborate in real time both inside and outside your enterprise, execute plans, adapt to a dynamic environment and measure performance to objectives.
Presentation types range from customer experience, best practices and round table discussions to development tips, product updates and the latest releases.
