The Forum for Business Education, Research and Development
Valletta, MaltaThe Forum for Business Education, Research and Development (FBERD) provides a platform for extending knowledge and understanding of business from interdisciplinary perspectives. It aims at facilitating interdisciplinary business education, research and development by bringing together policymakers, business leaders, academics, researchers and others with broad interests in business to share their experiences, to discuss research findings and to disseminate knowledge. The interdisciplinary approach is problem-focused and draws on various business disciplines to address complex real world business concerns.
The 2011 FBERD Business and Economics Conference will be held on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th September 2011 at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Hotel in Valletta, Malta. The conference theme is ‘Advances in Business Education, Research and Practices’. The conference provides an opportunity for cross-fertilization of ideas where academics, researchers and professionals come together to discuss current issues and practices, challenges and emerging trends in business and economics from interdisciplinary perspectives, and to share the most recent research findings and work-in-progress. Participation is open to managers, entrepreneurs, directors, policymakers, academics, practitioners, and educators and anyone with an interest in business and economics.
