VoD, IPTV & Web Casting – TV services and the Internet

This seminar will examine the business models for IPTV in the UK, its utilisation by advertisers, and the policy challenges of the platform for regulators. The meeting is scheduled as BBC Trust is examining plans for ‘Project Canvas’, the venture between the BBC, BT and ITV, which will combine digital terrestrial TV services with broadband capability, enabling wider access to the catch up services, such as the iPlayer.
We are delighted Jeremy Olivier, Head of Multimedia, Ofcom has agreed to deliver a keynote address.
